Service Description

Microloc maintenance is designed to keep your locs neat, healthy, and thriving while protecting the integrity of your roots and scalp. This service includes a detailed retie or maintenance session focused on preserving your grid, minimizing tension, and supporting long-term hair growth. Each appointment is approached with patience and care to ensure your microlocs remain lightweight, clean, and well-maintained without unnecessary stress on your hair. This service may also include: ✨ Scalp assessment ✨ Light cleansing or scalp refresh (if needed) ✨ Moisture and crown care recommendations ✨ Loc separation to prevent marrying and taming all fly-aways (frizz) (Microloc maintenance is a flat rate of $300 and includes up to 2 hours of service. Additional time beyond 2 hours is $50 per hour.) Maintenance is recommended consistently to help maintain the appearance, health, and longevity of your microloc journey. This is more than upkeep, it’s intentional care for your crown. 💜

Cancellation Policy

At Shi Psych-Ya, every appointment is reserved with intention and respect for both your time and mine. Please review the following before booking: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit will be applied toward your total. The remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment. Some services and styles require full payment upfront. This will be specified at the time of booking. Shi Psych-Ya is a mobile service, meaning I travel to you. A travel fee is required and must be sent via Cash App prior to your appointment. Travel fees are separate from your service total. For services that do not include a shampoo, hair must be clean and product-free prior to your appointment to ensure the best results. A 48-hour notice is required for all cancellations or reschedules. Failure to provide proper notice will result in loss of your deposit. There is a 10–15 minute booking grace period. All product purchases are finale.
